RULES & REGULATIONS
FIRST
Residents must respect these admission
rules and regulations, even if they may be considered
strict, their aim is to facilitate the act of living
together, and they will be certainly applied.
The relationship between the residents and the staff
must be achieved in a respectful and thoughtful manner.
The Administration Office must be informed of any inconvenience
that may arise, so as to solve it appropriately.
SECOND
The resident is responsible for the care of
the instalments in the bedrooms and the common spaces,
considering the correct use for which they have been
created. If any damage or loss ocurred, the resident
will have to pay the correspondant amount. If the furniture
suffer any damage or breakings either in the bedrooms
or in the sheets and towels asigned to each room, all
the residents from the room in question will pay in
equal parts, unless the person who caused the damage
assumes full responsibility of the act. The cost of
each irreparable broken or damaged element will be established
by the Administration Office. All lights and fans should
be turned off when living the room, and any damage on
fans and the excess in the use on electric energy will
be charged to the resident or residents in equal parts.
THIRD
Visitors: Residents are allowed to receive visitors
under their own responsibility. The visiting hours are
from 10 AM to 10 PM in the common spaces, with no exceptions.
If a resident wants to invite someone to study or wants
to share the restaurant with visitors, they must first
ask permission to the Administration Office.
VISITS OF OTHER RESIDENTS IN THE BEDROOMS IS
ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN FROM PM ONWARDS.
FORTH
Residents are free to leave the Residence and enter
at any time. The front door stays close 24 hours a day,
and the entry to the building, with a prior identification
of the resident, will be supplied by our permanent staff,
who are on duty 24 hours a day during the 365 days of
the year. We suggest not to abuse the permanent entries
and exits of the Residence. THE RESIDENCE FORBIDS
THE ENTRANCE OF ANY DRUNK OR INTOXICATED RESIDENT.
The resident must notify the Administrtion Office when
he/she will not spend the night at the Residence.
FIFTH
The Restaurant schedule is
- BREAKFAST:
Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 9.30 AM.
Saturdays from 8.30 to 10.30 AM.
NO BREAKFAST ON SUNDAYS
• During the rest of the timetable the restaurant
gives a permanent coffee service
• The Restaurant is open for meals Monday to
Friday from 12 AM to 11.30 PM and on Sundays and Holydays
from 3 PM to 11.30 PM
The delivery service is not allowed. And it is forbidden
to eat in common spaces (reception, study room) and
in bedrooms.
The resident may hire the breakfast and food service
in the Administration Office.
SIXTH
If the resident looses or misses the keys of the room
or closet, he/she must pay the amount of $ 30 for the
replacing of the key, with no exceptions. To avoid this
inconvenience, we suggest the resident to leave the
keys at the front desk, and it will be returned to them
with the messages and letters addressed to him/her when
entering the Residence.
The Residence does NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for
the disappearing of personal belongings and values from
the bedrooms, as these items are in absolute charge
of the resident. There is a safe box service
free for residents. We recommend always locking the
room, even for short periods.
SEVENTH
There is a rule regarding the ABSOLUTE SILENCE, starting
at 12.00 PM, which the resident must obey WITHOUT ANY
EXCEPTIONS, avoiding every noise (music, shouting, discussions,
door slams, etc.). This rule is also applied from 1.00
PM to 4:00 PM. Between the other hours, the noise must
be equally lowered. The Residence does not allow meetings
at the front door of the building, on the sidewalk,
or near the building.
The violation of this rule as well as bothering the
neighbors or other residents, will be reason enough
to apply the admission right.
The residents must respect the study area of the Residence,
being responsible of keeping a silent, peaceful and
respectful environment.
EIGHTH
It is FORBIDDEN:
1. The use of electric devices such as heaters, ovens,
wax devices, etc.
2. To move or withdraw furniture or devices from the
bedrooms.
3. To iron in the bedrooms. There is a special ironing
room for your disposal.
4. The use of music equipments or TV’s, only walkman
or discman.
5. To stick or hang posters, stickers, pictures or any
adhesive element on walls, furniture, windows, devices
or closets.
6. According with a law of the Autónomo Gobierno
de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, it is forbidden to smoke
in the common areas. In the rooms the wish of NO SMOKERS
will be respected. If residents smoke in the rooms,
it must be aired. We recommended
7. Every type of phrase on doors, walls, elevators,
corridors or common spaces.
8. To occupy the designated space of other/s roommate/s,
even if the other spaces are unoccupied.
9. Phone calls (except urgencies) that may bother the
resting hours of the roommate/s. In case of complaints,
the phone will be disconected.
10. Any object not compatible with safety and integrity.
NINETH
The bedrooms will be cleaned on Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays, with changing of sheets on Mondays and
Fridays, and replacing towels on the three days. At
cleaning days the bedrooms must be previously arranged
and emptied WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. It is not allowed to
leave bags and suitcases that may bother the maid’s
work. The Residence offer a luggage room for that purpose.
Cleaning is COMPULSORY and the maids will not enter
the room if residents are sleeping or using the bathroom,
or if the bedroom is not in proper order. As cleaning
is compulsory, if the Administration Office receives
a reiterative complaint about the mess, a resident sleeping
or taking a bath, or anything that will not allow the
maids’ work, it will be reason enough to practice
the admission right.
Residents must provide themselves with personal sanitary
items (soap and toilet paper).
TENTH
Alcoholic drinks are NOT ALLOWED in the Residence. For
that reason, any bottle or packaging containing such
drinks will be withdrawn inmediateley.
It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN the use of drugs, and with
the slight evidence of its use, the resident will be
automatically expelled, previous notification to the
parents, guardians, or the Institution that sent him/her.
ELEVENTH
In case of illness or disability, the resident must
inform the Administration Office. The Residence has
an Emergency Medical Service, which guarantees a personal
medical visit and later transfer, if necessary, to the
place the resident requires according to its medical
insurance. If the resident does not have a medical insurance,
he/she will be transfer to the nearest Public Hospital.
The Emergency Service is free. The Personal Medical
visit has a special charged.
THE RESIDENCE HAS THE RIGHT
TO EXAMINE THE BEDROOMS SO AS TO VERIFY THE CORRECT
FULFILMENT OF THESE RULES.
THE RESIDENCE HAS THE RIGHT OF CHANGING RESIDENT’S
BED AND/OR ROOM IF IT IS NECESSARY ACCORDING TO AVAILABILITY.
Administrative Clauses
1. The registration
tariff is NOT REFUNDABLE
30 days stay pesos 100 or dollars 35
60 days stay pesos 200 or dollars 70
More than 60 days stay pesos 750 or dollars 250
2. Payments must be done
between the 1st and the 5th of each month. After the
deadline date, resident will be charged with a daily
rate of 5 pesos until he/she cancelled the debt.. Prices
are cash and payments with Credit Card will be charged
with 10%
3. Check in between the
1st and the 15th days of the month, payment will be
the whole monthly tariff.
4. Check in after the 15th
day of the month, payment will be a fortnightly tariff.
5. Check out between the
1st and the 15th days of the month, payment will be
fortnightly tariff.
6. Check out after the
15th day of the month, payment will be the whole monthly
tariff.
7. The monthly tariff after
the first month are lower, this is the way we try to
help those who stay longer with us. All daily and quarterly
stay rates are different.
8. The rooms to rent adjust
themselves to the established period when hiring the
lodge.
9. Residents are not allowed
to take their personal belongings from the bedrooms
if the account has not been paid.
10. The absence of a resident
due to personal matters, winter holidays or trips, does
not imply a discount on the monthly tariff.
11. If the resident decides
to leave the residence before the lodging period expires,
must give a written notification advice to the administration
office with NO LESS than 30 days in advanced. If not
must pay the stipulated lodging period as if he/she
was staying at the residence. This 30 days notification
will be acceptable up to October 31st. If the notification
takes place after this date, the resident must pay November
and December without exception.
THE RESIDENCE RESERVES THE RIGHT
OF ADJUSTING OR MODIFYING THE TARIFFS.
PRICES ARE IN ARGENTINE PESOS
The tariffs include lodging, use of equipments and instalments
in the Residence, room service three times per week
with replacement of sheets twice a web and towels three
times a web, medical urgencies. Personal medical visits
are charged.The laundry service has an additional cost,
as well as the food service always in a lower price
than the ones outside the Residence.
